HANOVER, Ind. – The Panthers (13-9 overall, 7-8 HCAC) celebrated Senior Day with a win over Manchester on Saturday afternoon, 76-69.
Prior to the contest, Hanover recognized five seniors for their many contributions to the Panther Women's Basketball program –
London Brooks,
Lily Ernstes,
Kaitlyn Lorenzi,
Alexis Wines,
Mykayla Moran.

Hanover was led by senior Kaitlyn Lrenzi with a double-double, netting 18 points and pulling down 13 rebounds.
Senior
Alexis Wines added a game-high 21 points with six assists and five steals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hanover set the tone quickly as they surged ahead 1-0. Leading the charge was Wines with seven straight points. Hanover led by as many as 25-12 after the first frame, getting the total offense involved.
Wines continued to have success in the second quarter, hitting a pair of free throws that helped propel the Blue and Red to the 30-18 difference. Manchester would knot the contest, 32-32, with 1:07 remaining before Lorenzi completed the three point play. Hanover entered the intermission shooting 43 percent from the floor.
The second half saw the Hanover advantage reach double figures once more with senior
Lily Ernstes providing a runner in the lane, 47-37. Lorenzi was key down the stretch as the senior recorded five points in the third quarter for the 54-47 lead.
The final quarter was an even 22-22 as the Panthers secured the 76-69 win. Despite the success, Hanover had a slight scare with Manchester using a layup in the paint to cut the score to 61-58.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday when they play host to Anderson.
