Hanover Bows Out of HCAC Tournament After Battle at Earlham

Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers hit the road competing in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Semifinals hosted by Earlham on Thursday afternoon, falling to the Quakers in a nail bitter 4-3.
 
DOUBLES PLAY
Sophomore Sebastian Vogel and sophomore sophomore Jake Fascione secured their no. 1 doubles match by a score of 6-4.
 
At no. 2 doubles, sophomore Chase Richardson and sophomore Holden Nagy battled to a 6-4 decision, surrendering the doubles point to the Quakers.
 
SINGLES PLAY
Fascione continued his success sweeping the day with a win at no. 1 singles in dramatic form, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4.
 
Freshman Lucas Silveira battled from behind at no. 3 singles dropping set one 6-1 before winning set two and the tiebreaker set 6-2, 6-4.
