Tyler Joy-Brandon joined the men’s soccer coaching staff in the fall of 2021.
He comes to Hanover after a distinguished playing career at Transylvania where he was named a First Team All-American defender in 2018 and ranked fourth in the nation in goals against average. He also was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference MVP in 2018.
Furthermore, he played for the Louisville City’s USL 2 side in the summer of 2020 as well as the Derby City Rovers PDL in the summers of 2017 and 2018.
In his first season with the Panthers, Joy-Brandon helped guide the team to a program first Sweet 16 berth. He also helped mentor Josh Hughes, the programs first All-American, and All-Region honoree Evan Redmon.
Tyler obtained his C license through US Soccer Coaching Association in the summer of 2022.
