Matt DeVries will enter his second year with the Hanover men’s lacrosse team in 2018.

Devries began his collegiate coaching career at Hanover, where he joined the staff prior to the 2017 campaign.

Prior to his time at Hanover, DeVries played collegiately at the NCAA Division II level. Graduating from Wheeling Jesuit (W.Va.) in 2016, DeVries helped lead the Cardinals to a 36-20 record over his four-year career, earning him a spot on the winningest class in program history.

His coaching experience prior to joining the Panthers’ staff included a local travel team in Louisville, Ky., as well as being an instructor for the Trilogy Lacrosse camps.

A native of Louisville, Ky., DeVries went to high school at Christian Academy.
