Box Score

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Hanover College Panthers dropped a double overtime heartbreaker with Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Rose-Hulman on Wednesday evening, 3-2.

As a team, the Panthers (6-5-1 overall, 3-1 HCAC) finished the contest with 11 shots, nine of which were on goal.

Hanover continued to attack the frame as senior Kayla Nowlin (Harrison, Ohio) sent a ball into frame that was finished by sophomore Maggie Day (Sellersburg, Ind.) for the Panther two goal lead, 2-0.

However, Rose-Hulman used a two-goal outburst, finding the equalizer in the 68th minute to tie the contest at 2-2 forcing an overtime thriller.

After a scoreless first overtime, Rose-Hulman wasted little time finding the game-winner as they beat the Panther backline in the 103rd minute for the victory, 3-2.
