Panthers Continue to Dominate Five Set Thrillers

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Hanover and Spalding met for the second time this season with the Panthers erasing a two-set deficit to claim the 3-2 (22-25, 18-25, 25-16, 25-21, 15-12) victory. The Blue and Red move to 2-0 overall on the year when facing the Golden Eagles.

As a team, the Panthers finished with a game-high .209 hitting percentage and 52 assists. Sophomore Emma Rolf (Lebanon, Ind.) paced the way for the Blue and Red with a double-double in kills (15) and digs (14).

After surrendering the first two sets, the Blue and Red went on to out hit the Golden Eagles en route to the five-set victory.

Senior Ally Williams (Fountiantown, Ind.) finished the contest with a game-high 35 digs, while sophomore Kelsey Ketcham (Mishawaka, Ind.) dished out 41 assists.

Hanover returns to action on Saturday, September 21 as they travel to DePauw. First serve is set for 1:00 PM.
