HANOVER, Ind. – After a week off, the Panthers return to the hardwood to take on the Rose-Hulman Figthin' Engineers on Thursday, January 21, at 7:30 pm and Saturday, January 23, at 1:00 pm.
 
Thursday's contest will see the Blue and Red return to the confines of Collier Arena before hitting the road for Terre Haute, Ind. on Saturday.
 
HOME SWEET HOME: The 2019-2020 campaign saw the Panthers post an impressive 9-1 home record, including a 65-55 victory over Rose-Hulman. The contest saw Hanover shoot an impressive 45.5 percent from the floor including five three-pointers. Leading the charge was sophomore Ty Houston (Union, Ky. / Cooper) tying a team-best two made three-pointers.
 
LAST MEETING: The last meeting between the two programs saw the Fightin' Engineers squeak out the slim 69-63 conference tournament victory. Pacing the way for Hanover was senior Isaac Hibbard (New Albany, Ind. / New Albany) with a team-best 17 points and five assists.
 
LEADING THE CHARGE: Senior Mark Albers (Pendleton, Ind. / Pendleton Heights) leads the Panthers in scoring this season averaging 16.0 ppg, while shooting 48.4 percent from the floor. Hibbard is close on his heals averaging 15.0 ppg with a team-best nine assists. In the paint, senior Connor Washburn (Indianapolis, Ind. / Fishers) has been a force averaging 10.0 rpg, while netting 9.5 points per contest. As a unit, the Panthers are shooting 43.3 percent from the floor with 13 made three-pointers.
 
UP NEXT: The Blue and Red return to action on Thursday, January 28 when they rematch with Franklin College. Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm.
