HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover football team welcomes Manchester University to Alumni Stadium for Hall of Fame Day.
HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES: At halftime, Hanover will recognize it's three newest members of the Panther Hall of Fame.
Carly (Meek) Riehle - Carley, a 2008 graduate, is arguably one of the best volleyball players to ever wear a Hanover uniform as she was named a four time First Team All-HCAC selection, while also earning HCAC Most Valuable Player accolades in 2007. During her senior campaign in 2007, she propelled the team to an NCAA Tournament berth as well as an HCAC Tournament Championship.
Molly (Martin) Pabst - Molly a 2011 graduate, played four seasons with the Hanover women's basketball program. During her four years, Molly helped lead Hanover to a HCAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship as well as an NCAA Tournament berth. During her career, she was named HCAC New Comer of the year in 2007, the Conference Most Valuable Player in 2011, and a four time HCAC First Team selection. Following her career, Martin was also recognized as an Honorable Mention All-American.
Larry Duke (The Voice of the Panthers) - Larry started covering the Panthers in 1984 when called his first football game on WORX with Bob Sieman. Football isn't the only sport he has broadcast, Larry can also be heard on the sidelines of basketball games. During his time with Hanover he has also been on the call for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and most recently volleyball games.
THE LAST MEETING: The last meeting between Hanover and Manchester came in 2019 with the Blue and Red capturing the 56-7 victory. The Panthers were led in the contest by senior
Shawn Coane (Evansville, Ind.) with 184 yards rushing three touchdowns. The senior averaged 13.1 yards per carry. Defensively, senior
Kyle Treber (Mishawaka, Ind.) added nine total tackles including a half sack.
