Box Score HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers celebrated Hall of Fame Day on Saturday afternoon with a win as they rushed past Manchester to the 33-0 victory.
 
The Blue and Red were led in the contest by senior Matt Weimer (Georgetown, Ind.) who charted a team-best 146-yards on the ground and 369-yards through the air. He added two passing TD's and a season-best 74-yard rushing touchdown.
 
The Hanover offense was firing on all cylinders as they wasted little time finding the endzone. Senior Matt Weimer (Georgetown, Ind.) piloted the offense 81-yards on five plays finding senior Jared Frank (Louisville, Ky.) for a 45-yard hook-up and score, 6-0.
 
The first quarter saw another Panther strike as a 15-yard rush from Weimer placed Hanover at their own 37-yardline before senior Shawn Coane (Evansville, Ind.) took over. The senior ran through a pair of Manchester tacklers for a 48-yard touchdown, 12-0. The TD marks his eighth of the season.
 
However, Coane wasn't done as he delt another blow as time expired in the opening half. With no time remaining, Weimer was flushed out of the pocket where he found Coane on a short route that he took to the house for the 29-yard and score. The catch capped off a 17 play 99-yard drive.
 
The second half would see the Panthers deliver another touchdown as senior Walt Ballinger (Beech Grove, Ind.) made his first trip to the endzone following a one-yard rush. The rush capped off a 68-yard 11 play drive.
 
The final strike came from Weimer who flexed his speed on the drive breaking free for a 72-yard run and score en route to the dominating 33-0 victory.
 
At halftime, Hanover recognized three new Hall of Fame inductees Carley (Meek) Riehle, Molly (Martin) Pabst, and Larry Duke.
