HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover football team hits the road for a key Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest at Mt. St. Joseph. Kick-off is set for 1:30 PM.
 
LAST MEETING: The last meeting between the Panthers and Lions came in 2019 with Hanover reigning victorious 27-3. Pacing the attack was senior Shawn Coane (Evansville, Ind.) with 22 rushes for 160-yards and two touchdowns.
 
THE SERIES HISTORY: The last 10 meetings between the Lions and Panthers has seen the Lions hold the 7-3 edge, however the last meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio saw Hanover claim the 27-3 victory.
 
THE RECAP: Hanover enters the weekend at 5-3 overall, 4-1 in the HCAC including a 33-0 victory over Manchester. Pacing the Blue and Red was HCAC Offensive Player of the Week senior Matthew Weimer (Georgetown, Ind.) who tallied 369 yards with two passing touchdowns. He also added 117 yards on the ground and a score.
 
MSJ RECAP: The Lions enter the contest at 5-3 overall, 4-1 in the HCAC after defeating Anderson 35-18. The Mount was paced in the contest by Jake Ayler with 166 yards through the air and four touchdowns.
