HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers will hit the road for St. Louis, Mo. and Wash. U. to face Dominican (Ill.) in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament on Saturday.
The Panthers (13-1-4) are making their eighth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, with their last trip coming in 2016.
Hanover qualified for the tournament by winning the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title in a shootout over Mt. St. Joseph, giving the Panthers the automatic bid.
Dominican (Ill.) University (15-6-1) won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference claiming the automatic bid with a 2-1 decision over IIT.
The Hanover-Dominican winner will face either No. 6-ranked tournament host Wash. U. or Beloit in the Second Round on Sunday.
