HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover volleyball team is set for a series of home contest taking on Transylvania on Tuesday, February 2 followed by Bluffton on Saturday, February 6.
TRANSYLVANIA PREVIEW: The Pioneers currently hold a two-game win streak over the Panthers with the last victory coming by way of 3-1 decision. Hanover was led in last season's contest by
Adrianne Vance with a team-high 14 kills, while teammate
Emma Rolf added 13 kills. Junior
Kelsey Ketcham paced the attack with a team-high 35 assists.
BLUFFTON REWIND: Hanover claimed the hard fought 3-2 victory over the Beavers in 2019. Leading the way was Vance and Rolf tying a team-high 17 kills.
Josie McClara dominated at the net with a game-high five blocks.
LEAGUE STANDING: The Panther attack ranks among the best in the league as the Blue and Red currently hold a league best .216 hitting percentage.
Emma Harmon is one of several top hitters for the Panthers, ranking first overall among the HCAC in kills per set at 4.00. Teammate, Vance claims the runner-up spot averaging 3.73 kills per set. Harmon also ranks among the league best in points averaging 4.40 points per set.
BACK IN ACTION: Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, February 10, when they travel to Richmond, Ind. to take on Earlham.
