The Men’s Basketball team is set for home and away series with Transylvania

SPARTAN CLASH: The Panthers welcomed Manchester last Saturday to Collier Arena, defeating the Spartans 85-69. Hanover saw four players finish in double-figures paced by freshman Josiah Ricketts (New Harmony, Ind.) with a career-high 16 points. Sophomore Ty Houston (Union, Ky.) added 15 points, while freshman Matt Munoz (Indianapolis, Ind.) chipped in 11 points.
 
DOMINATING THE PAINT: Senior Connor Washburn (Indianapolis, Ind.) continues to be a force in the paint for the Blue and Red. The senior has posted a conference leading 2.0 blocks per contest (14 total), while averaging 8.1 points per game. Houston and senior Mark Albers (Pendleton, Ind.) have also found success, recording four blocks apiece.
 
LAST MEETING: Hanover and Transylvania split a season-ago with the Pioneers claiming the final meeting of the year, 70-65. The Panthers were led by Albers with 15 points and nine rebounds. Houston added 14 points, including two three-pointers.
 
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS: Transylvania enters the series at 5-6 overall with a perfect 3-0 home record. Leading the scoring effort for the Pioneers is Zach Larimore averaging 16.4 per contest. Teammate, Lucas Gentry is averaging 15.5 ppg, while pulling in a team-best 7.3 rebounds per contest.
