HANOVER, Ind. – The Panther women's tennis team returned to action this afternoon welcoming Bethel. The Blue and Red dropped the match 8-1.
The Pilots swept doubles action but not without a fight as the team of senior
Regin Dean (Madison, Ind.) and junior
Cassie Froedge (Louisville, Ky.) dropped a hard fought 7-6 battle at no. 3 doubles.
Bethel carried the action into singles play pushing their lead to 6-0. However, Dean continued her successful day at no. 5 singles dominating the match 6-0, 6-2.
Junior
Sidney Goedeker (Charlestown, Ind.) turned in a tough battle at no. 6 singles dropping the tight match 6-3, 7-5.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 3 at Franklin. First serve is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
