HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover women's Tennis team played host to NAIA opponent Midway on Monday afternoon, dropping the contest 8-1.
 
The Panthers bright spot came at no. 2 doubles as junior Maddie Shannon (Anderson, Ind.) and freshman Melaina Tippery (Loogootee, Ind.) picked up the convincing 8-5 victory.
 
Singles action would see freshman Isabelle Roberts (Brownsburg, Ind.) drop a competitive match at no. 4 singles 7-6, 6-3.
 
Teammate, senior Regin Dean (Madison, Ind.) dropped a tough match at no. 5 singles 6-3, 6-3 before Hanover ultimately surrendered the match to Midway.
 
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 17 when they take on Anderson. First serve is set for 12:00 PM.
