LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Hanover men's tennis team dropped a competitive match-up to division I foe Bellarmine on Wednesday afternoon 7-0.
The Panthers opened doubles action surrendering the point but not without a fight. The no. 2 doubles team of junior
Keith Asplund (Jeffersonville, Ind.) and junior
Pablo Gallart (Serra, Spain) dropped a tough 7-5 battle before the team of freshman
Brandon Clunie (Niota, Tenn.) and senior
Jed Fajt (Greencastle, Ind.) fell at no. 3 doubles 6-2.
Singles action saw a competitive battle at no. 3 singles as Asplund fell in the match 7-5, 6-3.
Clunie also posted an impressive dual at no. 6 singles dropping in a tie breaker set 7-6, 3-6, 6-10.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 17 when they compete at Anderson. First serve is set for 12:00 PM.
