BEREA, Ky. – First half outburst saw the Blue and Red shoot past non-conference foe Berea College on Wednesday evening 4-1.

Hanover was led in the contest by freshman Joao Domenici (Alphaville, Brazil) with a game-high two goals. The two goals were the first of his career. Seniors Josh Hughes (Lafayette, La.) and Carlos Schryver (Sao Paulo, Brazil) also added one goal a piece.

The first Panther goal came just 10 minutes into the opening half as Hughes beat the Berea defenseman for the 1-0 lead.

Domenici added his first career strike in the 36th minute as he received a pass from teammate senior Sam Graber (Louisville, Ky.) to extended the HC advantage to 2-0. His final blow of the contest came just moments before halftime as he gave Hanover the commanding 3-0 lead.

The second half would see Schryver make his way into the scores column following a penalty kick in the 47th minute that propelled the Blue and Red to the 4-1 victory.
