HANOVER, Ind. – Second half goal lifts men's soccer (9-4-3 overall, 7-0-1 HCAC) past Bluffton in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon, 1-0.
Hanover was paced in the contest by senior
Fernando Martin (Sao Jose Rio Preto, Brazil) with the lone Panther strike. Teammate, junior
Scott Zehnder (Louisville, Ky.) added a game-high three shots.
The lone strike came late in the second half as freshman Omar Disdar (Bardstown, Ky.) found Martin in the 61
st minute for the golden goal, 1-0.
In frame, junior
Luciano Salemi (Indianapolis, Ind.) picked up the clean sheet with 90 minutes of work and one save.
The Blue and Red return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 26 when they welcome Rose-Hulman as part of their HCAC finale.
