Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Hanover women's soccer team (6-2-2 overall, 2-0-1 HCAC) battled to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday evening at Transylvania in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action.
 
Sophomore Beth Cook (Goshen, Ohio)  led the charge with one goal and a game-high nine shots.
 
Cook pushed her goal streak to six straight games as she delivered the game's first blow in the 35^th minute off an assist by junior Bri Matis (Liberty Twp., Ohio), 1-0.
 
However, the second half saw the Pioneers respond with the equalizer in the 61^st minute as they were able to navigate the Panther defense for the game tying strike, 1-1.
 
Hanover finished with a game best 15 shots, nine of which landed on frame.
 
The Blue and Red returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 8 when the welcome Defiance for Homecoming. Game time is set for 1:00 PM.
