Hanover Volleyball team lands four All-HCAC selections

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the Volleyball All-Conference award winners on Tuesday afternoon with four Panthers being recognized.
 
Sophomore Molly Schwarzkopf (Greenfield, Ind.) earned First Team accolades, with teammates junior Casey Dunn (Fort Thomas, Ky.) and freshman CC Shick (Fort Thomas, Ky.) capturing Second Team honors.
 
Shick along with freshman Maddie Robertson (Mitchell, Ind.) were also named to the HCAC First Year Team.
 
Schwarzkopf appeared in 26 matches and 99 sets averaging 1.44 kills per set. She posted an impressive .225 hitting percentage, ranking her among the top 15 in the HCAC.
 
Dunn appeared in 26 matches with 98 sets played. The junior charted 466 digs, averaging 4.76 digs per set, ranking her third among the HCAC. She has dished out 77 assists and 21 service aces.
 
Shick, who has appeared in all 26 matches making 22 starts, posted a team-best 233 kills. The first year is averaging 2.35 kills per set, ranking fifth among the HCAC, while also posting a team-high .239 hitting percentage. At the net, Shick has posted 62 blocks, ranking 10th among the league.
 
Robertson rounds out the awards for the Blue and Red seeing action in 24 matches and 80 sets. She picked up 111 kills, averaging 1.39 kills per set. The first year rounded out the year hitting .182.
