Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Hanover men's tennis team opened the spring season this afternoon with their annual winter break trip to Hilton Head taking on Bridgewater. The Panthers dropped the competitive match 5-4.
 
The no. 2 doubles team of junior Connor Garrison (Louisville, Ky.) and senior Pablo Gallart (Serra, Spain) opened the contest winning the no. 2 doubles match 8-7 following a tie breaker (10-5).
 
Gallart would go on to claim his no. 2 singles match 6-3, 2-6, then 10-6 in the tie break set. His teammate, freshman Alberto Castillo 9Pozuelo De Alarcon, Spain) dominated no. 4 singles defeating his opponent 6-1, 6-0.
 
 The Panther final two victories came at no. 5 singles by freshman Pedro Macedo (Petroplois, Brazil) winning in a tie break set followed by freshman Charley Williams (Jeffersonville, Ind.) at no. 6 singles winning 6-3, 7-5.
 
Hanover returns to action Monday, Feb. 28 taking on Fairmont State.
