MEQUON, Wis. – The Hanover Panthers hit the road this weekend taking on Concordia (Wis.) in non-conference action. The Panthers dropped the contest 18-3.
Hanover was paced iby freshman
Owen Parker (O'Fallon, Mo.) with a team-high two goals on three shots. Senior
Dirk Meinhart (Elizabethtown, Ky.) tallied one goal and an assist for the Blue and Red.
Trailing 2-0 in the opening frame, Parker responded for Hanover halting the surge at the 8:07 mark. His second goal came just moments later off a Meinhart assist that pulled HC within a goal.
Meinhart netted the Panthers final blow with 2:14 to play before intermission cutting the difference to 10-3. However, Concordia handled the rest scoring seven second half goals for the victory.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, March 26 when they travel to Adrian. Game time is set for 12 PM.
