Hanover captures largest HCAC margin of victory this season in domination of MSJ

HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers dominated the Lions of Mt. St. Joseph on Saturday afternoon to remain perfect in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action, 19-7.
 
Senior Anne Breeding (Miamisburg, Ohio) paced the Panther attack with a game-high six goals. Senior Milah Young (Granger, Ind.) added five goals while sophomore Masi McNally-Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) netted three strikes.
 
The first frame saw the Blue and Red capture a 6-2 advantage paced by Breeding with four goals. Sophomore Taylor McNally-Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) added the final two strikes.
 
The second frame would see senior Britney Hernandez (Louisville, Ky.) enter the scores column followed by Young to extend the Panthers lead to 8-4. They entered the intermission with the convincing 10-4 lead.
 
Hernandez found her second blow just moments into the second half before the flood gates opened with the Panthers surging to the 14-5 advantage.
 
They tacked on five fourth quarter goals in rout to their largest HCAC victory of the season.
 
The Blue and Red return to action on Wednesday, April 27 traveling to Transylvania. Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
