NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – The Hanover Panthers advance to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship after defeating Anderson 6-2.
The Blue and Red were led by junior
Jedrek Brodzki (Warsaw, Poland.) who took his no. 3 doubles match with teammate freshman
Charley Williams (Jeffersonville, Ind.) 8-7 before going on to win no. 3 singles 6-3, 5-2.
Hanover also picked up wins at no. 1 doubles as the team of senior
Connor Garrison (Louisville, Ky.) and
Joey Keal won 8-1.
In singles play, senior
Pablo Gallart (Serra, Spain) won no. 2 singles 6-2, 6-0 while Garrison took no. 4 singles 6-2, 6-0.
Rounding out the afternoon was freshman
Alberto Castillo (Pozuelo De Alarcon, Spain) with a victory at no. 6 singles to help propel HC to victory.
