DELAWARE, Ohio – The no. 18 ranked Hanover Panthers (2-1-1 overall) battled to a 0-0 tie on Saturday afternoon against Hope.
 
Pacing the Panther attack was senior Sean Fleming (Louisville, Ky.) and junior Scott Zehnder (Louisville, Ky.) with two shots apiece and one on frame.
 
In goal, junior Luciano Salemi (Indianapolis, Ind.) posted a clean sheet with four saves.
 
As a team, the Panthers fired off eight combined shots with three landing on frame.
 
 With time winding down in the second half, freshman Omar Dizdar (Bardstown, Ky.) fired off a shot that was denied by the Hope keeper. They got one final attempt as senior Brendan Gallagher (Louisville, Ky.) connected on a shot at 70 minute mark that landed unsuccessful.
 
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 14 when they travel to Otterbein.
