HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover football team hits the road traveling to Adrian College on Saturday for a 1:00 PM kickoff from Docking Stadium.
 
LAST MEETING
The Panthers and Bulldogs last met in 2021 with Hanover reigning victorious, 21-14. Senior Matthew Weimer (Georgetown, Ind.) paced the Panther attack as he completed 16-of-27 attempts for a game-high 209 yards and two touchdowns.
 
TALE OF TWO DAYS
Hanover opened the 2022 season welcoming Centre to Alumni Stadium and C. Wayne Perry Field, falling to the Colonels in a two-day slugfest, 31-29. Weimer blew up the stat sheet with 292 yards through the air and three touchdowns. He also added 74 rushing yards on 14 attempts.
 
Senior Hunter Eads (Batavia, Ohio) appeared to be his top target collecting 102 yards on five receptions with two touchdowns.
 
Defensively, junior Justin Williamson (Macon, Ga.) charted six total tackles while picking up an interception and two pass breakups.
 
SCOUTING ADRIAN
The Bulldogs of Adrian opened the 2022 campaign with a road trip to Heidelberg getting shutout 31-0. Aaron Jenkins, Adrian starting running back, led the offense with 77 yards on 20 carriers. Defensively, Kyle Minder charted double digit tackles, with nine solo stops and a sack.
