Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. - The Hanover Panthers (13-4 overall) wrapped up the weekend with a trip north to Adrian. Hanover claimed the non-conference match 3-1 (25-19, 18-25, 25-23, 25-22).
 
The opening set would see the Blue and Red claim the 25-19 victory after using a series of rallies for the early advantage. The big set lead came behind the attack of freshman Madison McCubbins (Mooresville, Ind.) who connected for a kill as well as a service ace. 
 
Hanover surrendered set two before rallying for a tight set three win. With the contest locked at 22-22, sophomore Elliot Mays (Jeffersonville, Ind.) landed a kill that shifted the momentum. Sophomore Maddie Robertson (Mitchell, Ind.) secured the rest propelling HC to the 25-23 win. 
 
The Panthers secured the win in set four but not without a fight. After using a four point rally to flip the script, Robertson landed a kill that gave HC the slim 17-16 advantage. However, Adrian responded but Robertson again deemed clutch securing the 3-1 match victory. 
 
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 7 when they welcome Earlham to Collier Arena.
