Panthers erase a three goal deficit en route to win

BLUFFTON, Ohio – Hanover (6-7-1 overall, 3-2-1 HCAC) completed the ultimate comeback on Saturday afternoon erasing a three goal deficit for the 4-3 victory.

Hanover was paced in the contest by sophomore Jose Perez 9Nashville, Tenn.) kwith two goals on four shots.

After a scoreless first half, Bluffton owned their home pitch in the second half netting three straight goals for what seemed like the dagger to the Panther offense, 3-0.

However, Hanover continued to fight as Perez netted the team's first goal in the 62nd minute. The goal ignited the comeback surge.

A little under a minute later, Perez again dealt a blow that saw HC pull within 3-2.

In the 73rd minute, senior Clayton Anderson (La Grange, Ky.) knotted the contest 3-3 sending the contest into a panic.

Senior Ethan Nazor (Louisville, Ky.) recorded the game winning blow with just three minutes to play sending Hanover to the perfect sweep of Homecoming weekend.

Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 18 when they head to Mt. St. Joseph. Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
