Panthers defeat Rose-Hulman in regular season finale

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Panthers (9-7-1 overall, 5-2-1 HCAC)) traveled to Terra Haute to take on the Rose Hulman Fightin' Engineers as part of their HCAC regular season finale. With high implications, Hanover secured the 1-0 victory.

The Panthers came out early firing three shot on goal within the first minute and a half of play, however the Blue and Red fell empty handed. Both teams had their fair share of attempts in the first half as Hanover tallied eight shots and Rose Hulman seven total attempts. With no shots flying over the line, the first half ended in a draw.

The Panthers and Fightin' Engineers jockeyed for position in the second half with Hanover reigning victorious. Nearing the final minutes of play, the sophomore Patricio Campos finally got the Panthers out in front with a goal in the 85th minute of action. This was his eighth goal of the season, as he continues to lead Hanover in goals scored.

The game ended with the Panthers sealing the win 1-0 en route to their ninth victory of the season. The win extended the Panthers winning streak to four games as they start HCAC tournament action next Wednesday, November 1st.
