HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers hit the road for their first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference road contest of the 2023 season Saturday at Bluffton.
LAST MEETING: Hanover dominated the Beavers of Bluffton in 2022 claiming the Homecoming victory 63-21. The Panther were led in the contest by junior running back
Blake Huffman (Columbus, Ind.) with 89-yards on seven carries and two touchdowns. Wide receiver, junior
Mason Williams (Fort Mitchell, Ky.) added five receptions for 82-yards and two scores.
ON THE ROAD: The Panthers have great success on the road this season posting a 2-0 mark while outscoring opponents 77-24. The Blue and Red are averaging 38.5 points per game with zero turnovers. The signal caller, senior
Kolton Richards (Kissimmee, Fla.) has been a force to be reckoned with charting 514 total yards through the air with four touchdowns. Senior
Hunter Eads (Batavia, Ohio) has dominated the secondary recording 155 reception yards with two touchdown catches.
BLUFFTON ON THE WEEKEND: The Beavers enter the weekend 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC after dropping a road contest at Franklin. Bluffton enters the contest averaging 27.5 points per game led by senior quarterback Xavier Reyero. Reyero has recorded 14 passing touchdowns averaging 287.5 yards per game.
