HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers (7-1-3 overall, 3-0 HCAC) remained perfect in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action Wednesday evening as they defeated the Pioneers of Transylvania, 2-1.
Junior
Beth Cook (Goshen, Ohio) recorded her third straight multi goal game, fifth of the season, netting two goals on three shots. As a unit, Hanover recorded seven shots, five of which landed on frame.

Despite a tough save by goalkeeper senior
Maggie Hinegardner (Fort Thomas, Ky.) in the 45
th minute, the Transylvania Pioneers were able to clean up the deflected ball for the equalizer, 1-1.
The Panthers gave the Pioneers a taste of their own medicine in the second half as Cook cleaned up a Transylvania deflected ball in the 54
th minute following an impressive attempt on frame from senior
Jostin Reeves (Greenwood, Ind.) en route to the win, 2-1.
Hinegardner helped secure the win in frame as she tallied one save moving to 7-1-3 overall on the season.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 7 when they welcome Manchester to the Soccer Complex. Game time is set for 1:00 PM.
