ST. LOUIS, Mo. The Hanover Panthers (14-2-4) competed as part of the NCAA Championships on Saturday evening, falling 2-0 to the Tigers of Sewanee.

Hanover finished the contest with two shots, one of which landed on frame. Senior
Maggie Hinegardner (Fort Thomas, Ky.) played an impressive game in frame recording a save through 90 minutes of action. The All-Conference goalkeeper finished the season with 54 total saves ranking her first among the league.

The Panthers lone attempt on goal came from senior
Callen Johnson (Ashland, Ind.) in the 69
th minute as she looked to net the equalizer but came up empty handed, 1-0.

Sewanee added the final goal of the evening in the 83
rd minute to secure the 2-0 NCAA Championship advancing victory.

Hanover finished the year winners of the HCAC regular season title and winners of the HCAC Tournament. They ranked first among the league in shots, points, goals, assists, and goals allowed.

The contest concludes the 2023 campaign.
