The scoring frenzy ensued as
Taylor McNally-Henriksen added her first goal of the afternoon with just seconds remaining in the opening frame.
The second quarter saw Wartburg use a five goal surge to capture the 8-4 lead. The Panthers looked to rally as Taylor and junior
Mya Urba (Westfield, Ind.) delt a series of blows to cut the difference to 9-7.
Hanover would tie the contest at the 10:46 mark in the fourth quarter with Masi netting the strike. However, Wartburg deemed too much closing the contest with five straight goals to claim the non-conference win.
Freshman
Marissa Bardo (Indianapolis, Ind.) led the Panthers in frame picking up four saves through 60 minutes of action.
Hanover returns to action on Thursday, March 2 when they take on Southwestern University. Game time is set for 7:00 PM CST.
