HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers shot past Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference opponent Spalding on Thursday afternoon, winning the contest 21-0.
Junior
Masi McNally-Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) led the Panthers with a career-high eight goals. Junior
Taylor McNally-Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) added five goals with two assists. Hanover pelted the net with a game-high 64 shots, 45 of which landed on frame.
The opening period saw Hanover surge ahead 4-0 as Masi and Taylor paced the charge. The Panthers tacked on two final strikes in the frame with junior

Abby Mensing (Parker, Co.) providing back-to-back blows, 6-0.
The scoring outburst ensued with the sister combo of Taylor and Masi blowing the game wide open netting four straight goals to give HC the 10-0 lead with 2:55 to play till halftime. Freshman
Natalie Mullin (Greenwood, Ind.) propelled Hanover into the intermission with the commanding 11-0 lead.
The second half saw Masi chart a hat trick using three straight strikes over a seven minute span.
Junior
Dani Johnson (Terre Haute, Ind.) added her first goal of the 2023 campaign at the 11:22 mark in the fourth quarter to defeat the Golden Eagles.
Hanover returns to action on Wednesday, March 29 when they welcome Wittenberg to Alumni Stadium. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
