GAME ONE
The Panthers pounced onto the scoreboard in the top of the first inning as senior Kendra Hutchison (Lafayette, Ind.) singled before sophomore Carson Kruse (Fort Branch, Ind.) executed a sacrifice bunt that propelled HC on top 1-0. They added another run later in the inning off the bat of freshman Sydnie Raisor (Campbellsburg, Ky.).

Hutchison picked up her first RBI of the contest in the top of the second inning with a double to right field scoring sophomore Mallorie Fultz (Greenfield, Ind.), 3-0.

Asbury responded in the next half inning plating what would become their only run to cut the difference to 3-1.

Hanover tacked on an insurance run in the top of the fifth inning before blowing the game wide open in the top of the sixth inning. Hutchison charted an RBI on a deep ball to center field before Kruse singled through the right side scoring Hutchison. The final run of the inning came from a Raisor RBI, 7-1.

The Panthers tacked on five more runs in the top of the seventh inning on five hits. Freshman Cadence Northern (Jeffersonville, Ind.) opened the inning with an RBI double before Fultz added another run on an Asbury mishap.
