Men's Tennis rallies to beat Transylvania in HCAC action

Box Score  HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover men's tennis team knocked off Transylvania in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action 5-4.
 
Junior Joey Keal (Louisville, Ky.) and junior Charley Williams (Jeffersonville, Ind.) picked up a win at no. 2 doubles as they won the match in dominating fashion 8-1.
 
The no. 3 doubles team of junior Rodolfo Jacome (Guayas, Ecuador) and freshman Nicolas Zumba Coronado (Buckhannon, W.V.) also claimed a win as they pulled out a 8-6 battle.
 
In singles action, senior Jedrek Brodzki (Warsaw, Poland) won a highly competitive no. 2 singles. 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.
 
Freshman Abhay Singh (Ambala, India) also found success as he captured no. 3 singles 6-4, 6-4.
 
Rounding out the match for the Blue and Red was Jacome as he remained perfect on the day with a 6-4, 7-5 victory.
 
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 1 when they take on Anderson. First serve is set for 12:00 PM.
