FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Panthers (1-7 overall, 1-1 HCLC) hit the road for Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference action at rival Franklin, dropping the contest with the Grizzlies 21-3.
Junior
Masi McNally-Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) paced the Panthers with four total shots, three of which landed on frame, and a goal.
After a slow start that saw HC fall behind 5-0 in the first quarter, the Panthers found some footing. Masi provided the blow at the 12:11 mark in the second frame pulling Hanover within 5-1.
However, Franklin continued the attack on frame rattling off eight straight goals to extend their lead to 12-1.
Junior
Taylor McNally-Henriksen (Zionsville, Ind.) recorded the final blow of the first half as the Panthers entered the intermission trailing 13-2.
The final Panther goal came at the 11:18 mark in the fourth quarter as junior
Dani Johnson (Terre Haute, Ind.) charted the goal.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, April 22 when they travel to Mt. St. Joseph. Draw control is set for 1:00 PM.
