WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Panthers fell to 3-1 overall on the year, dropping a non-conference contest to the Cardinals of Otterbein. Hanover dropped the contest in four sets, 15-25, 25-14, 21-25, 17-25.
The Blue and Red were paced by sophomore
CC Shick (Fort Thomas, Ky.) and sophomore
Maddie Robertson (Mitchell, Ind.) with a team-high nine kills apiece.
Defensively, senior
Casey Dunn (Fort Thomas, Ky.) added 25 digs while dishing out three assists. Senior Aubrey Wlaton (Linton, Ind.) added a team-high 17 helpers.
On the attack, Hanover connected for a combined 40 kills. They recorded a .140 hitting percentage on 136 total attempts.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday, Sept. 9 when they take on Capital and Bethany.
