HANOVER, Ind. - The Hanover Panthers return to Alumni Stadium welcoming Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Rose-Hulman to C. Wayne Perry Field. Hanover host Military Appreciation Game and would like to say Thank You to our nation's armed forces, veterans, and their families.

HOMECOMING REWIND: The Panthers celebrated Homecoming last week welcoming Mount St. Joseph in a high-flying battle despite falling 49-41. Sophomore Eian Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) put on a quarterback clinic throwing for 366 yards and four touchdowns. He also added one rushing score.

Freshman Brian Wall (Sellersburg, Ind.) dominated on defense, adding a game-high 14 tackles with 13 of them being solo stops. He also added three tackles for loss. Senior Ben Massey (Indianapolis, Ind.) added a pick-six with five stops.

THE MATCH-UP: Entering Saturday, Hanover trails the all-time series 37-36-2 dating back to 1903. Rose-Hulman has won the last three meetings between the two programs including a 2023 victory 44-39.

The 2023 clash saw Hanover record 593 yards of offense with six touchdowns. Eian Roudebush tallied a career-high 445 passing yards with six passing touchdowns. Senior Austin Oppel (Brandenburg, Ky.) rushed for 109 yards on nine carries. Senior Eric Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) collected 92 yards and three receiving touchdowns on six targets.

IN THE NCAA RANKS: Brian Wall has been a defensive menace in his rookie season for the Blue and Red. The first year ranks among the top 15 in NCAA Division III in solo stops with 25, averaging 6.2 per game. He also ranks in the top 12 in total tackles.

APPROACHING 50: Head Coach Matt Theobald is quickly approaching the 50-win mark in his ninth season. Theobald enters the weekend with 46 combined wins for a 46-38 overall record.

BOWL GAME: Hanover continues their quest for an HCAC title after an early season setback with MSJ. However, with a second-place finish in the league, the Panthers can qualify for the first-ever NCAA Division III Football Bowl Series at the Hall of Fame Village with Opendorse Sports. The Bowl game will feature football teams from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, North Coast Athletic Conference, Ohio Athletic Conference, and President's Athletic Conference.
