Hanover, IN - The Hanover College men's soccer team hosted the Berea College Mountaineers today as part of the men's & women's doubleheader weekend here at Hanover.
The Panthers came out aggressive and looked to establish the tone early. Controlling time of possession and not getting flustered at the defensive attempts of Berea, HC was able to get on the board in the first ten minutes. Junior forward

Ben Howard closed out the half for the Panthers, stating 2 saves, and maintaining their 1-0 lead over the Mountaineers.
The second half was much more exciting as four more goals found their way to the back of the net a midst an extremely physical contest. Hanover wasted no time at all going on the prowl in the second half, scoring in the first forty-six seconds as senior defender Austin Howlerda scored off an assist from
Omar Dizdar.
The next forty minutes of play would be extremely physical, with goals coming every ten minutes it seemed. The next athlete to find their way through the defense was none other than Omar Dizar, stating his second of the day on an assist by fifth-year midfielder Xander Oschner. The Panthers, now up 3-0, would see a spectacular display of individual effort put on by fifth-year back
Henry Schuchman, who found his first goal of the year as well.

The Panthers return to action next Wednesday on the road at Transylvania University for a 7:00PM EST conference match-up.
