Lexington, KY - The Panthers took to the road yesterday and traveled to Lexington, KY to take on the Pioneers of Transylvania University.
This heated conference match-up is always a gritty battle, both physically and mentally, and this game would be no different.
HC gave all they had on both ends, and out paced the Pios in corner kicks and saves on the evening.
Freshman goalkeeper
Ben Howard saw 10 total shots on the evening, 5 shots on goal, and had 5 saves - allowing the Panthers to walk away with zero goals allowed.
However the Panthers also struggled to capitalize on scoring opportunities of their own as well, ultimately leading to the final decision that was a draw.
Hanover and Transy tied in a scoreless defensive-battle, leaving HC sitting at 6-5-4 on the year, and 4-1-2 in conference play.
The boys are on the road again this Saturday, this time in Richmond, IN as they take on the Quakers of Earlham College in a 3:30PM EST conference match-up.
