PLAY-BY-PLAY
Rose-Hulman started hot in set one before senior
Molly Schwarzkopf (Greenfield, Ind.) halted the surge at the service line. The senior was a key component of an 8-0 rally that propelled Hanover in front 19-11. McCoy pushed the set out of reach with three straight kills that secured the 25-13 win.
Much like set one, Rose-Hulman claimed an early 5-2 difference. But Schwarzkopf shut it down again as she paced a Panther 9-0 rally that flipped the script in favor of the Blue and Red, 25-20.
Set three belonged to Hanover, as a Schicker ace and a junior
Elliot Mays (Jeffersonville, Ind.) kill put them on top 15-7. McCoy secured the final six points of the set to remain perfect at home.
Hanover returns to Collier Arena on Saturday, Oct. 26 when they host rival Franklin. First serve is set for 1:00 PM.
