Richmond, IN - The Panthers took to the road again to take on the Quakers of Earlham College in a cross-conference match-up.
The boys came out ready to play from the very first whistle, making sure to set the tone early. Sophomore midfielder
Miles McMillen did his part by hustling through the Quaker defense and taking on the keeper to score unassisted in the seventh minute of play, putting the Panthers up 1-0.
Then, just three short-minutes later, junior forward
Omar Dizdar beat his defender and found a passing lane to connect with freshman forward
Andrew Pavlisko for his fifth goal of the season, and Dizdar's third assist.
Going into halftime the score was Hanover 2, Earlham 0.
The Panthers did not wait long after the break to get back on the attack. Once again sophomore midfielder
Miles McMillen would make another gritty individual effort and score, making the score now 3-0, Hanover.
In the eightieth minute of play, HC let up a penalty kick, but still winning in dominant fashion at 3-1.
HC, now 7-5-4 on the season (5-1-2 in conf.), looks to mark their sixth conference win on the road next week as they travel to Franklin, IN to take on the Grizzlies. Kick-off is set for 7:00PM EST at Franklin College.
