HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers celebrate Senior Day welcoming the Beavers of Bluffton to Alumni Stadium and C. Wayne Perry Field for Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action.
ON THE ROAD AT MANCHESTER
Hanover hit the road last week, dominating the Spartans of Manchester 55-7. Sophomore
Eian Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) finished the game with 284 passing yards and five touchdowns.
Senior
Jalen Peck (Bloomington, Ind.) appeared to be his top target hauling in 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Sophomore
Clint Hearne (Madison, Ind.) dominated as a member of the special team's unit going 7-for-7 in point after attempts. The sophomore also connected for a 23-yard and a 52-yard field goal. For his efforts, Clint earned his second HCAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week honor for the 2024 season.
INSIDE THE STATS
The Panther defense is a force to be reckoned with in the HCAC, allowing a league minimum of 17.8 points per game and 307.3 yards per game. They also rank first in touchdowns allowed with a league-low 21.
On the offensive side of the ball, Hanover ranks first in offensive efficiency at 169.2.
ON HIS WAY TO 50
Head Coach
Matt Theobald collected his 49
th win last week at the helm of the Panthers. With 50 wins, Theobald would become just the second coach since 1886 to reach the milestone. The only other coach to surpass 50 wins was Coach C. Wayne Perry with 174 career victories.
