HANOVER, Ind. - The Hanover Panthers and the Franklin Grizzlies clash for the 94^th meeting of the Victory Bell with the Panthers leading the all-time series 47-42-3 dating back to 1898. Hanover won the 1898 contest by a score of 18-11.
 
THE VICTORY BELL
Hanover claimed the 2023 matchup by a score of 36-17. Sophomore Eian Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns. Hanover finished with 372 yards of offense while Franklin recorded a game-high 378 yards.
 
Senior Jamey Deckard (Bedford, Ind.) led the defense with 13 tackles, 11 of them solo stops including a sack and three tackles for loss.
 
LAST CLASH IN FRANKLIN
The 2022 game in Franklin, Ind. saw Hanover reign victorious with a 24-3 win. The Panthers turned in an impressive showing with 452 yards of offense with 299 of them coming through the air.
 
THE GAME AT DEFIANCE
Hanover enters the weekend 6-3 overall with a 4-1 mark in HCAC play after defeating Defiance in non-conference action 31-7.
 
Eian Roudebush threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns.
 
Senior Noah Caswell (Madison, Ind.) added two tackles for loss, one sack, and a forced fumble.

Senior David Wall ranks first among the HCAC in sacks with 10.5 averaging 1.05 sacks per game. He ranks third in tackles for loss at 15.
Deckard ranks seventh in tackles for loss with 11 tackles averaging 1.10 tackles for loss.
