HANOVER, Ind. – The Hanover Panthers hit the road for non-conference action at Defiance College on Saturday afternoon taking on the Yellow Jackets at 1:00 PM at Justin F. Coressel Stadium.
THE LAST MEETING
Hanover and Defiance last clashed in 2023 as the Yellow Jackets spoiled the Hanover Homecoming defeating the Panthers 27-21.

Jalen Peck (Bloomington, Ind.) led the way for the Blue and Red with six receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown.
The Panthers combined for 311 total yards, and 103 yards rushing as a unit.

Jamey Deckard (Bedford, Ind.) led the defensive effort recording seven tackles and two for loss. Senior
David Wall (Sellersburg, Ind.) added six tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack.

Hanover welcomed HCAC foe Bluffton to Alumni Stadium defeating the Beavers 49-13. Sophomore
Eian Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns. Senior
Austin Oppel (Brandenburg, Ky.) rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown.
The Panthers tallied 382 yards of offense with 192 yards coming through the air.
HCAC STATS
The Hanover defense ranks first among the league in points per game allowed (17.8) and fewest touchdowns giving up (23).
David Wall leads the HCAC in sacks at 10.5, nine of which were solo stops.
THE YELLOW JACKETS THIS SEASON
Defiance enters the weekend at 3-6 overall with their recent transition to the NAIA.
The Yellow Jackets and Panthers have two like opponents in Manchester and Rose-Hulman. Defiance defeated Manchester 35-3 but fell to Rose-Hulman 29-25.
They enter the weekend averaging 355.2 yards per game with 222.8 yards coming through the air.
Leading the offensive attack is Jehlani Warren with four rushing touchdowns and 10 passing touchdowns.
