Box Score HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover (1-1 overall) shot past Wilmington on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at Alumni Stadium, 23-2.

Colin O'Brien (Somers, Conn.) led the attack with a game-high five goals. Junior

Zach Stone (Elizabethtown, Ky.) all charted hat tricks.

Colin O'Brien opened the scoring with back-to-back blows before junior
Owen Parker entered the scores column at the 9:49 mark, 3-0. The outburst continued as junior
Alex Kleinhelter found the back of the net finishing with two first period goals, 6-0.
In the second frame, O'Brien captured the hat trick when sophomore
Ethan Abdoo found his first goal of the afternoon. Kleinhelter netted his third strike to help propel Hanover into the intermission leading 11-0.
The second half saw Wilmington end their scoreless drought as they were able to find the back of the net at the 12:13 point, 11-1. But Hanover quickly crushed the momentum with O'Brien netting his fourth goal of the contest. Senior
Nick Adams (Greenwood, Ind.) entered the scores column with 9:49 remaining in the third frame followed by senior
Will Slover (Versailles, Ky.) seconds later for the commanding 14-1 lead.

Cole Finley (Louisa, Va.) netted goals later in the period as they pushed the lead to 16-1. Abdoo completed the hat trick with 2:32 remaining giving HC the commanding 17-1 difference.
The rest was history with the Panthers tacking on five fourth quarter goals claiming the dominate 23-2 victory.
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 24 when they host Concordia University (Wis.) at 2:00 PM.
