ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Panthers (0-4 overall) wrapped up their weekend series in St. Louis taking on WashU. The Panthers dropped the double header falling in game one 8-0 before surrendering game two 6-1.
GAME ONE

Lauren Beaman (Indianapolis, Ind.) got the nod throwing 2.2 innings before surrendering the ball to junior
Dani Steward (Shelbyville, Ind.) in relief.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers surrendered two runs in the bottom of the second inning before giving up a five run third inning, 8-0.
Hanover finished the contest scattering just two hits with no errors.
AT THE PLATE
Freshman
Olivia Planck (Lexington, Ky.) paced the Panther attack with two hits on three at-bats. Freshman
Sophie Markowizc (Greenwood, Ind.) drew the Panthers lone walk.
GAME TWO
IN THE CIRCLE
Freshman
Rylin Huddleston (Seymour, Ind.) capped off a strong weekend in the circle for the Panthers pitching 5.1 innings scattering six runs on nine hits.
HOW IT HAPPENED
WashU wasted little time as they were able to plate two runs in the bottom of the first inning before adding an insurance run in the second inning, 3-0.
However, the Panthers got one run back in the top of the fourth inning as sophomore Jade Sims (Indianapolis, Ind.) picked up the RBI with a single to center field.
The Bears got the final say adding three more runs en route to the sweep.
Hanover returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 29 when they travel to Greenville.
