Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. – The Panthers (3-4 overall) suffered an early setback as they fell to Centre on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action, 24-2.
 
 Hanover was led in the contest by sophomore Ethan Abdoo (Bloomington, Ind.) with a team-high four shots. Junior Alex Kleinhelter (Fishers, Ind.) and senior Cole Finley (Louisa, Va.) added three shots apiece.
 
Centre used a first period surge to push the contest nearly out of reach when the Panthers halted the attack moments into the second frame. Colin O'Brien delivered the man-up blow off an assist from junior Owen Parker (O'Fallon, Mo.), 11-1.
 
Hanover netted another goal at the 12:53 mark this time with junior Alex Kleinhelter (Fishers, Ind.) providing the helper to O'Brien, 11-2. But Centre was able to combat the attack and capture the 16-2 halftime lead.
 
The Colonels finished the contest with eight second half goals en route to the 24-2 wins.
 
Hanover returns to action on Saturday, March 16 when they travel to Wabash. Face-off is set for 2:00 PM.
