TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Hanover (4-4 overall) competed in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action over the weekend at Rose-Hulman, falling in the contest 8-1.
The Panthers lone victory came as part of no. 1 singles as senior
Joey Keal (Louisville, Ky.) captured the match. The senior won 6-4, 6-1.
Sophomore
Ilya Gromochenko (Tucson, Ariz.) battled at no. 6 singles dropping the hard fought contest 3-6, 5-7.
Hanover also looked to secure the no. 3 singles match as junior
Alberto Castillo (Pozuelo De Alarcon, Spain) fell in a third set nail bitter 6-2, 3-6, 5-7.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday, March 23 when they welcome Transylvania to the Zeddies Tennis Center.
